About Gift Closets
Do you have a gift closet? What we mean is do you have a place to store away gifts so that you will have just the right thing on hand when a certain need arises? Have you ever found out at the last minute that someone who has become rather special is having a birthday and you wish you had a little something to give to them, and a trip to a store is not feasible? Gifts of encouragement or sympathy are often like this. The need comes up all of a sudden, without being planned for. Having a gift closet comes in handy for situations such as these.
People use different things as “gift closets”: A large box, a storage trunk or large basket, a shelf or shelves in an actual closet, or a plastic container. Be innovative and think of other ways to do this in your home.
Needless to say, we’re suggesting you have one because we feel many of the items we offer would be well suited for such a storage place. Think about it–and put away a few of our speakable gifts for the future!
